Easy Homemade Glazed Doughnuts

  1. Nothing was mentioned about how much warm water was mixed with the yast. Also in the ingredients section there is nothing mentioned about shortening or how much to use, but somehow magically we're supposed to know in the directions where it mentions adding it... Think I'll go to a different and more thorough site, thanks for a waste of time and for getting my hopes up lol

    1. Your post is completely unnecessary! A baker would know years needs warm not hot water around 109 degrees. Water at this temp. cannot be felt at the elbow. So run the tap until you can dip your elbow into the flow and not feel it. As for the shortening, if you are talking about that which you get the donuts, you need about 2" to float the donut.
