  2. I too went to the site you said "had the recipe". While similar, it had no hash browns and only used 6 eggs. 12 eggs is a lot but maybe your recipe needs it to filter down into the hash browns to bind it all together. They other recipe used a whole lb of grated cheese

  3. ...to continue! Yours only has 1 cup cheese. They both could taste very good but a novice cook would have a hard time trying to combine the two.

  4. Lexi's Breakfast Casserole:

    Prep time: maybe ten min.
    Total time: about forty min.

    Ingredients:
9 eggs (whisked with a dash of milk poured in)
2 cups shredded cheese to make a good coating (I come from WI so I need a lot!)
    4 cups shredded Hash brown
1 can crescent roll (I used 6, but I would recommend 8 to fully cover the bottom of the pan nicely)
bacon bits (as much as you like- I'm a vegetarian so I only put it on half- it does not make a difference)
whatever Veggies your heart desires (broccoli, jalapenos, mushrooms, etc.)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Spray Pam or some other non-stick oil to pan
roll out crescent rolls so there is a layer on the bottom of the pan
coat cheese and hash browns on top of dough
    drizzle whisked egg evenly
put bacon and/or veggies on to coat the top
pop in the oven for about 30 minutes
    take it out and enjoy

I'm a college student and it is very easy to make and lasts a extremely long time!
